When you want your user to give you a link to their favourite website, their portfolio page or maybe their social media profiles you can use the “Website URL” component. Of course you could also ask for other types of links like to an online pdf, picture or video. Basically anything that can be accessed online is accessible by a website URL (website address).
When you want to share a link on your form instead you can use the “Website Link” component.
The “Website URL” component only has a label where you can specify your question and a property to mark the question as required if you accept submissions when the question is answered.
The submission data of this component will be the link that your user has provided. Be advised that FormFinch can not check the contents of the website the link is referring to and therefore visiting the links provided to you in this manner are at your own risk.
